Multicast Analysis
This tool attempts to process information from Cisco router Command Line Interface (CLI) output (IOS) for IP Multicast and present you with some summary information about the local IP Multicast traffic. We need the output from two (2) CLI commands:
- show ip igmp membership
- show tech-support ipmulticast
Using this information we will understand what type of IGMP requests are being made by locally attached Hosts on their router port, and then derive the amount of traffic that Host is requesting from various IP Multicast sources. If there are multiple sources available for a specific IP Multicast group, and the router interface shows an IGMP version 2 membership type, we will sum all forwarded sources for that group. Router interfaces showing IGMP version 3 memberships will only have the explicit sources traffic summed.
There are two drop-down lists showing all uploaded files. Please select the respective and the from their lists. The output files should only contain a SINGLE command output.
